yesterday's cell message was really good. talking about valleies. i guess valleries are very much like disappointments. they can't be avoid or prevented and all. but yet we know that in all situations, as long as we believe and trust in Him, we can pull through all things. when you can't see God's hand, learn to trust in His heart. :)

felt that as the weekend service approaches, i feel so much to get into His presence. honestly i feel that the presence of God is only as much as you want it. if you don't pull His presence down youself, no one is going to do it for you. as much as the musicans can play or the song leader and sing and lead, it all still depends alot on yourself. which i did and i know cos deep down i really wanted to grasp something.

went down to serve in ministry and it was extra tiring as i was down to serve for the saturday extended ministry service for another two hours. as time passes, the kids gets really restless and starts running all over the plac and the teachers [including me] were dead tired already. adam, this young boy is really like as if we have magnetic connections. but he's really cute and sweet. :) that's one side of the story cos the other side is about his crying power. carrying him while him crying OUT LOUD was really deafening as he was crying into my ears. it took me a while to cool him down and to finally sit down to play with the rest. i don't understand why kids don't like people carrying them to sit down when they are already carried. unfair. :/

after service, met up with rongping, rubez, jason, wahkeong for late dinner. all of them were sharing about service and what happened, especially those interesting ones. after hearing all that, i was supposed to feel happy for them but instead i started to feel weird about the service tomorrow. i called up shiqi and shared with her. thankfully for her, i felt a lot better when i reached home. didn't really know what to expect. just a little afraid and weird feelings attached.

-

on my way to expo today, i kept praying. i never felt so weird about deliverance service before. the more uneasy i was, the more i knew i got to go for service. i prayed and told God that though i don't know what to expect later, i really don't want to keep having my own imaginations, but i just want to trust You. i kept repeating, I JUST WANT TO TRUST YOU. I JUST WANT TO TRUST YOU. I JUST WANT TO TRUST YOU... all the way into service and throughout service.

very soon it was ministrying service. i seriously was excited but yet scare at the same time. i just wanted so much to worship Him first and pull down His presence. during the first alter call, i feel a little tensed up by the releasing of evil spirits by other people, but i kept telling God that I JUST WANT TO TRUST YOU, no matter what happens. as soon as pastor mike gave the second alter call, i quickly walked out and was really ready and prepare for anything to happen, to come, to...

a lady very quickly came over to pray for me me. i felt uneasy as pastor started praying and i was shaking slightly, trying to move away and to shake off the lady's hand on my shoulder. but she gripped me firmly that i couldn't move much and prayed strongly with me as we were led into the prayer. at first i started crying buckets while she was praying. before i knew it, the person in front knocked onto me and i fell on the floor. as the lady continued to pray for me, i started to feel my hands shaking and started to push her away. the next moment, i was on the ground, trying to escape her. i can only remember my hands and body were pinned down as i was struggling hard to break free from them and was crying out [somewhat screaming]. it was really beyond the control of my actions. i couldn't stop myself. the next moment i was held up from the ground and she started praying again. i started breathing very hard and coughed hard. the lady was really nice, she held me really close to her and i really felt as if God held me up in His arms.

this was the first time i've been delivered in such a way. once again, i told God, I JUST WANT TO TRUST YOU. if i didn't i know nothing will change. to have the presense of God is your duty to pull it down for yourself. do something to show God that you are serious about His works.

today i did. and i know i always will.

just some interesting things i read up about woman. :) girls. haha* [note: might not apply to all girls.]

Fine
This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.

Five Minutes
If she is getting dressed, this is half an hour. Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given 5 more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.

Nothing
This is the calm before the storm. This means "something" and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with "nothing" usually end in "fine".

Go Ahead
This is a dare, not permission, DON'T DO IT!

Loud Sigh
Although not actually a word, the loud sigh is often misunderstood by men. A "Loud Sigh" means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you over "Nothing".

That's Okay
This is one of the most dangerous statements that woman can make to a man. "That's Okay" means that she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.

Thanks
This is the least used of all words in the female vocabulary. If a woman is thanking you . Do not question it , just say you're welcome and back out of the room slowly.

-

woman are interesting. no wonder man love woman. haha* :) laughs.

i saw this girl this morning, looks quite pretty. :) i love her curls and the many different waves on her hair as it brushes across her face. her hairdo makes her look good, esp when it makes her hair looked more volumed up. she look different. :) haha* i wonder who she was until i put on my glasses...

... oh, is was she in my mirror reflection.

-

another way of praising myself for the decision to change my hairdo. whoohoo! :) i woke up and really forgotten that i permed my hair cos i was wondering why my hair was in such a mess. haha* blurred. cos i fell asleep while watching a show. sometimes i think i suffer from short term memory illness. :) that's why i have a blog to help me remember some things i do during the day.

about my maths board game. i'm glad that we're going to finish it soon. kat and me really put in alot effort but its okie. we know that we learn alot. :) whatever. lets not talk about people who don't do their part. :)

had a really tensed up moment in class this afternoon. sigh* thank God the issue was solved once and for all. either way someone won't be happy but if it doesn't conern my group and me, it doesn't matter. we're not selfish, we just wanted to stand on our rights to remain and stand firm with our very initial decision. they're all growth ups, whats more... future teachers and yet still having a child's mindset. its very saddening to know cos i worry for the class they take over. :/ just a reminder for myself as well: never take anything or anyone for granted, thinking that it or he/she will be there for you forever. sorry, it will be gone when you never learn to treasure it.

i've lost a alot in life because i fail in the area. as much as i can, i put in effort for every friendship i share, esp the closer ones whom i love dearly. time is short, everyone is always busy, but i will try my best to meet up cos i really hold on dearly to 'unusual' meet ups.

:) different paths we all take in life, but friends are forever.

had an enjoyable day. :) went to church and learn a few interesting points about marriage as pastor kong is embarking the whole church on an effective marriage enrichment course. :) well though most of us attending service are singles, but someday we'll all get married. so its like a foundation we are laying now for our future. :) haha* so its fun. but i will miss out on all the odd classes as i'll be serving in my ministry.

found a super cool place to hang out and watch nice shows at reasonable rate. went there with my cell group today and it was really fun. we watched oliver twist and it was really funny. everyone sings sings sings and dance the whole time. normal conversations are sang instead of speaking. but i like shows like that. just like moulin rouge. simply classic.

after the show, went down to jurong point to meet the girls to celebrate wendy's belated birthday. it was like traveling around singapore today. from the far east[expo] to the far west[boon lay]. but i believe it was really worth the trip though i was really mentally tired. :/ dinner was filling and the food was quite good. we all got her a bag, a big one in fact, so that she can use it for her traveling whereever she is flying off to. we had a simple but yet sweet birthday celebration for her. as long as we are spending quality time together, i believe anything we do can be fun. :)

oh jo bought us gifts from bangkok. really pretty necklace. :) like it alot. gonna try match my clothes to wear it out soon. :) though it was only a short dinner but we laugh and talked about our current affairs. each of us still having our unique individual character within us, going out for our goals. with that i am so proud of them.

-

to wendy: as long as you enjoy what you do, go for it. take the sky down while you're young eh? :) your patience and sincere heart will bring you really far whereever you go.

to meifen: as drama as you always are... i love you for who you are. winks* wishing you all the best in the designing world. i know you can do really well if you believe in yourself and go for it. jiayou!

to joanne: your interest in many things never stops to amase me cos you always excel in them. continue to go all the way for your NTU studies and be a good student by attending all classes. :) its your promise to us. winks* you've been a fun person to be with and i really enjoy your presence.

to zhanglu: without me saying, you know i will never fail to care for you. remember? i am your number 1 bodyguard. haha* so will be there for you always.

sandi patti
love makes a friend be a friend like you

what makes you give your last cookie away?
or help my clean my room all day?
why would you let me use your stereo?
or save me the middle of your oreo?

why do you always try to be,
there when i really really need you there,
to care, you're always willing to share.

love makes a friend be a friend like you,
love takes a friendship,
and turns it into something to last,
your whole life through,
love makes a friend be a friend like you.

and what makes you want to give your heart away?
what makes you open up and say?
all of the feelings that you hold inside,
all of the secrets that you try to hide.

why do you always try to be,
there when i really really need you there,
to care, you're always willing to share.

love makes a friend be a friend like you,
love takes a friendship,
and turns it into something to last,
your whole life through,
love makes a friend be a friend like you.

a beautiful song for a beautiful friend, always kept in my heart. a song to speak my heart. :) remembered searching high and low for it just to give you to thank you for all that you've done. memories are good but life moves on.

a beautiful song once again. if you want to hear it, ask from me eh?

had a really good cell meeting today. believe that deep in all of our hearts we all learn something that we learn about dealing with our disappointments. many a times, i feel that my greatest disappointment in life is not with God, man, people, things... but with myself. i am my own love, joy, anger, disappointment...

i have rather high expectations of myself, in conduct, behaviour, dressing, attitude... and if i fail to meet up to them, i get frustrated cos i don't understand why i can't be that way i wanted to be. i try to be nice, but i failed quite badly. :/ i like what pastor joyce mayer shared, each time you try so hard to be someone you are not, you will get more angry at yourself than before. just be yourself and be the best from it. :) haha* makes lots of sense. but then again, i believe that i can be a better me in certain areas.

of cos i love myself. :) i have good self awareness and self esteem... just that i feel i need some upgrading in areas of my life. my daily life is like the courses people attend to improve themselves, cos i meet with lots of different people daily: the good, the nice, the funny, the blur, the crappy, the moody, the quiet, the loud..... so people skills area can surely improved a lot. :) i need to work alot on learning to be CALM at all times. get too spidery easily. argh... practises makes perfect. bare with me.

recently, knew of a few people that didn't do well in their recent papers, including mark. thank God for msn and all those other online chatlines. managed to had a short chat with him and shared a little of cell message with him. i hope he was a little encouraged. could tell that he was very determine to do better for the prelims. jiayou to him. i gues sometimes disappointments are 'good', so that people are more motivated to do something to see a bigger change. all the best to him! :)

was just talking to shiqi as well and short conversations with her are good enough, cos she is always so encouraging. thats why i always say i like her alot alot. :) was sharing with her about being a professional character switcher, having a different character for different situations. this is not about being how many face, but about knowing the right time to be serious and at play. :) yeap! so its good. so lets be professionals in that area. know the time and season.

remind me to stop trying to be a perfectionist that i lose track of other things and tired myself out. i must know my limits. :)

-

i can never try to understand things or people that i am not meant to understand. just trying to free up spaces in my brain for other important details.

hahaha* just finished watching a few cartoons people uploaded on youtube. super funny, supper entertaining plus its free. :) the past week has been a little tense in school with a few rough patches i faced with a few of my classmates. i guess since its over with that group. it's just the different kind of learning styles we each have. i can't lower my standards anymore to do anyhow presentations. even though its the content that matters most but outlook of presentation marks the impression of how much a person would want to look at your work. sigh* i think i should slap myself for trying to be so perfect.

i may be blunt, or perhaps tactless and very loud but i'm trying hard to change as well. still in the learning process of what we call, life. you never stop learning and improving. people skills: whoever that said i was good, the person is lying. maybe i'm just a bit better among the group. i think i need to read books on that to improve or something. or probably just shut up for a while. i think i am too loud and noisy and the quiet voices are not heard. erh, yeah... it's their turn to talk.

#1. talk when necessary.
#2. stop. let others talk.
#3. you can choose what to listen.

opposite attracts?!! nah not necessary in all situation. put me with a quiet person, i will probably be bored but then again if the person is responsive to my conversation... i've saved a quiet soul to the loud world, or the in between. if you put me with someone who is quiet and so often in their own world or thoughts or out-of-flow... i will be as QUIET as them. rather, should i say i rather talk to my hands or something and find a good excuse to leave the place. haha* cos it makes no meaning to not being able to hold a "conversation". well most importantly it all depends on the main purpose of the conversation. not necessary to catch up and talk to everyone i know. sometimes a simple smile and acknowledgement is way good enough.

emphasize on #1. talk when necessary.
unnecessary conversations cause more trouble than gain. :)

no one ever did tell you i can also be mean and unfriendly?! haha* just kidding. i'm NICE... read my testimonals in friendster, mostly people who left a note says i'm nice, helpful, friendly, good... yah. yah. maybe.

i don't know how much i know about myself recently. i don't want to be labelled or be unsure of myself of the things i say or do. it makes me feel so doubtful of myself. sometimes i get so self concious that i tend to repeat myself a few times: trying to correct myself or to make sure i said the right word. and it feels weird to the listener. and it seems like i am very naggy. it's worst, cos it's the last thing i want to be known for being.

what a stage in life when you feel a little silly to actually bring such small matters up to talk about! anyway its the little-est things in life that defines your whole life. details counts, a lot. think in the design path, you'll understand why. :) still don't, er... ignore what i say and continue reading....

if you think i am nice, i'm. if you think i am loud, i'm. if you think i am pretty, i'm. if you don't like my style, i have no choice. too bad. haha* i don't change for you, but i change to be better. :) probably its just those days when you have nothing better to do and start thinking of funny thoughts. yerks!

got to wake up and move on....
by the way, the word, 'wake up' is supposed to be use in appropriate situations only. :) you know who.

here's the answers to yesterday's question:

1. moon - you care for me
2. teddy - you like me
3. flowers - you always miss me
4. balloons - best friend
5. sweets - friends
6. ring- you want me to stay around
7. rainbow - you love me

haha* weird-y answers with a little no link to relate. :)

thanks to kat for forwarding me the sms when i was standing beside her during class time. apparently math class was boring so most of us had our phones in our hands most of the time. winks* forward it to a few of my other friends via sms and i think i received a lot of sweets(phileo, shiqi, emil and some others), 1 teddy(rongping), 1 flower(zhanglu) and 1 ring(jason. haha!!!). and now i got a rainbow(rubez). to rubez: i love you too. :) a special message from shiqi telling me that i meant more than a friend to her, really brightens my day cos to me shiqi is also someone more than a friend i would consider. and i really like her a lot a lot. phileo thinks i'm mad when i told him that. haha* but nevermind. its between me and her. winks*

silly stuff that makes me smile. :)

-

bought my work to class today to compile into a group file. my friends were a little over-doing the praising of my work. but nevermind, i like praises anyway. heh! it was sure good when they were all surprised to see my work completed 2 weeks before submission. hey, to prove all those who think i am always a sleepyhead and those who doubt my work to SHUT UP. haha* :) today they were only full of praises about my work. people can be so satay instantly. sigh*

but one thing that made my day was surely the maths group discussion. we are to design a children maths boardgame. i was so glad that everyone contributed and we build everyone's idea. its making me very excited to start making, since already the discussion was so engaging. can't wait to start and play the game. wahaha! looking forward that iF someday, someone will buy our boardgame. hee* then i can be one of the shareholder and i will be RICH and a little famous!!

wake up. haha* familiar line. erh... irritating. haha*

committee meeting was abit er. i switched off for a while when i couldn't understand why they didn't get my point about the confusion of timings. i guess my expectations of a flyer is really higher than what i see. since i didn't help to design, i shall just keep quiet, yah probably shut up and listen. when you work under someone who has high standards, you will know what is not so good. not trying to be mean but its a fact i got to admit. or maybe it is just me being fuzzy. so much for trying not to be a perfectionist.

not knowing the cause, i felt so desperate to eat something. i wasn't hungry to be honest. felt irritated? frustrated? tired? anyway i just wanted to grab something warm and salty to eat. went round and round but couldn't find something suitable until when we're leaving for mrt. i decided that i want to eat pepper lunch. thank goodness they were still open and i finally ate something to kill the urged to eat something. the rest were just amazed and joined in. felt bad to make them stayed with me.

came home and became an artist. helped my sister to paint some small banner for her school stuff. i like painting though i am seriously not good at it. trial and error all the time. so sometimes it can be good and many other times ugly. cos you can't figure out what i am painting. thus i like abstract art alot cos you don't see the object as a whole but you know its there cos it's termed as 'abstract'. haha* famous matisse said, "art do not have to be real to look beautiful." which is very true, if not the abstract artists along the streets will be jobless now. :)

wow! i'm glad i finish my art and craft assignment today since i set my heart and mind to do so. though it took me 3 long hours++ but i felt it was worth it cos it really look GOOD! haha* i'm a little or maybe very egocentric. haha* i like to praise my own work as good, cos i know there are others that might be better or best. :) so by saying good is already considered as humble. :) heh!

people often paint with their object in front of them. well i do too, but mine is in the computer screen. so thats right, i was painting my work in front of the com. :) by the way the kind of art i was doing is cotton bud printing, also known as pointilism. yeah where instead of painting the work with brush strokes, you slowly dot out the image. so what you learn out of this is PATIENCE. :)

SO LETS SPOT THE DIFFERENCE. :)

this is the original piece by the artist, matisse.

this is my copied version of his by using pointilism art technic.

yup, cotton bud aka pointilism painting.

told you i'm ego. haha*

erh, the actual fact is, the photos taken are required for my assignment, to show the working process. so its not that i have nothing better to do. haha* so now i can safely rest till monday when my group all of us compile our art work. :) feels good to finish up early eh? heh! from now ons, things should be like that. finish days before due date.

last night, was introducing a job offer to junxian and he dug up alot of my funny history. well, things that are burried with sunflowers and ghost (cited of junxian's blog) should remain burried and not really to talk about it, esp in front of the victims of the various incidents. but then again it was really funny to think about the incidents. its okie to laugh at your past, cos now you know how much you've growth. i am glad i went through all that to learn to be stronger.

something about my nick: violentbeauty. well its an oxymoron word. a rhetorical figure in which incongruous or contradictory terms are combined. eg pretty ugly. so i am trying to emphasise more on the violent word and the beauty is added behind to make it sound oxymoron. haha* cos no one will actually see a beauty as violent.

nah, i got it from a website some years back through a name game. it is supposed to detect your 'whatever' name [eg. japanese name] and it turned out to be violentbeauty. most of my friends would agree to the first part and some could even relate. haha* okie i'm sorry for being violent at times. trying to be feminine but i think it's not time yet. no yet. not my time.

what do you read?

you will see GOOD and EVIL. look carefully and closely. [hint: the black and white words] its either good cannot exist without evil or in the absense of good is evil. interesting eh?

you learn and teach or teach and learn at the same time. its a reflection of both learning and teaching either way. so inspiring and interesting. :)

you'll probably see the word ME, but through me, you'll see YOU. :)

went to watch the priates of the caribbean: dead man's chest last night. it was a last minute activation call and i was glad that they remembered me, or at least remembered to jio me out. haha* though i didn't watch part one, but i certainly enjoyed watching it and don't really have difficulties trying to understand. a few scenes are quite gross, esp when they show the fly dutchman's crew. haha* but some look cute, esp the hammer head shark person or whatever it is. and i feel that it would be pretty good to catch part 1 soon, since i've got the vcd lying at home for ages but always having no time to watch. :)

Johnny Depp is really cute looking, and also in his actions, expressions and speech... and Keira Knightley is sure a hottie to not missed. but sadly i felt she was too selfish and to live in guilt later on. hahA* well i enjoy looking at good looking guys and girls. :) smiles*

-

talking about good looking guys. elvin ng, one new actor is sure a cutie hunk. i wouldn't say he is yandao, maybe not this word but rather he is under the cutie section, especially when he smiles. i manage to get a picture of him after searching thru mediacorp webpage, cos some pics are not allowed to be copied.

see, i told you he is really cute. :)
too bad he isn't smiling here.

i don't usually watch the 9pm show as i don't like the female actress: rui en. so anyway managed to watch today's episode and there was this few scenes where elvin ng will be so thoughful and nice to really help rui en out for her problems. his secret admiration for her makes me laugh cos he certainly look very cute when he looks at her with his goreous eyes when she isn't paying attention. plus the though of him hand-making a seashell bracelet was really extreme sweet. :) all these will only happen in drama series. so stop dreaming if you have started. :)

then again, because of his outstanding study background, i can't really stop talking about him. but still i will stop or else everyone will think i am mad about him when i am actually NOT. just commenting that he is good looking. :) the only guy 'idol' i will go on and on is none other than my all time favourite JAY ZHOU. haha* if you know me enough, you know how much i really like him and his songs. :) i'm a jay-ster, big fan of him in my own world. winks* my likings for actors time to time will change, but will never for jay. haha* :)

recently about him and his ex gf news. i honestly know nothing updated. i'm not really interested cos i feel that it's his style and music of his that i like about. if someone tells me about it, i'll listen and probably not remember after a while. heh!

jay. :)

-

oh yeah, another liking of mine is peter parker aka SPIDERMAN. i never really like any super hero cartoon characters and treat them all as boring. but tobey maguire made me like the spiderman character, probably because of his nerd looks, which mostly capture my attention. plus, i have a special liking for nerd looking guys. haha* but one irritating thing is the movie spiderman 3 is only coming out in may 2007. arh! nonsense. why do i have to wait so so long? hmm... sighs*

spider man. cute.

i'll surely wait for the movie to watch it!

if you want something you never have before, you got to do something you have never done before. -Pst Ming, at offering message.

adopt your own virtual pet!

this pet is specially adopted to name it ryan because throughout the whole dinner, he kept telling us that he's a 'pig' when actually he wanted to say he was born in the year of pigs. it made all of us laugh so much that we had to control ourselves as we were getting too loud. i guess the other people are really affected by us. haha* so i guess speaking english well is certainly important!!! :)

how to play with ryan: keep clicking on it and see it roll in mud. wash it with the water. you can even feed it with apple. yuppie. a ryan pig for you.

i adopted another pet, for fun. haha* sometimes its good to have funny things like that to make the blog looks a bit more lively. :) hopefully it does attact some attention. if you like one, follow the link. hee* then we all can have web pets and give them funny names. i remembered i used to play with neopets my pet is a yellow karchik, or how do you spell it. and my pet has a pet too, its a shark. yeah! that's all i can remember about playing it... and wasting alot of time trying to earn neopoints. -__-

-

been sleeping the moment i got home for the past 2 days. tired, yawns TIRED. rushing powerpoints till late at night, waking up early for tuition assignment and staying in school to do group discussion is tiring...

had a little off me yesterday. lost my cool in front of my group, everyone including me were tense and stressed out. we couldn't stand one another. thank God for renu for listening and understanding. especially for kat for being my support. i love her most in class. we're too similar in character and though often crash alot but we care alot for one another. :) ironic. hopefully we'll have our stress K-out soon. yup, just the 2 of us will be okie. cos we can be counted as 5 people's voice. haha* kidding.

that's kat and me.
indeed a beauty she is. but a auntie is trapped within her. haha* but i love her.

the purpose of a blog [might not apply to all]:

1. write your thoughts
2. reflect your day
3. write a letter/note to someone you never intend to send out
4. talk bad about someone... haha*
5. write secrets to show to whole world. darns. [not for me]
6. write something/anything to pass time
7. create silly stories
8. help people pass time with those stories
9. include a BIG and long list wish list for people to see
10. so that you can laugh at your past entries :)

i'm tired. and i think i can't think of more. if you do...write in your blog or something. i'll read it. :) heh!

oh my goodness. haha* after reading junxian's blog, i was shocked and speechless. okie, maybe i think i understood what he meant or maybe i was thinking too much. but anyway he is always a friend that i will enjoy having. erm, i mean i like him as a friend. enjoy having sounds like his a doll. haha* so boy, you're my friend. :) he'll be going into the army soon and there goes his goat-tee (how do you spell that?) and funny hairstyle. i think he is one of those guys that can carry that goat-tee thingy, cos his face helps him to suit it. yeah! :)

oh did i mention that he has a pair of nice hands? not that i am a pervert going around looking at people's hands, but he certainly do have a pair of nice hands for a guy. i think nad will agree with me. because of that his crafted out models are always one of the nicest among many. okie, junxian you are reading this, i have said enough nice things about you for a good treat. how about sushi? haha* :) drop me a tag then.

-

my music and movement module is finally over and i am excited, i mean overjoyed! drama presentation was really good today, though abit here and there had errors but we are not proffessionals so i guess we are okie. i felt that our humor was good enough that everyone laughs so much. and even had christine sms-ing me telling me that my group did well. :) i hope i can get the pics soon so that i can load it up. :) before i start breathing again, there's 2 more modules of group work pressing hard against time to be completed. :/ but i can do it! relax and hopefully everything will do fine. winks* i am not the spider type of people. haha*

had prayer meeting today led by yours truly. i felt that today's praying meeting was good. at least i really felt the presence of God stronger as we were praying. it was really good when we all started taking ownership in praying for the cell group and for one another. but it was a little too long and the ending was abit weird (i think i flopped it again... sigh*) i'll do much better, the next time! we prayed for about 1 hour 40+mins, that's including the sharing part from selwyn, isaac and me. but thanks audrey, i really felt very very encourage with her words. :) i love her. and thanks specially to sean for flowing well once again. indeed he who prays together, flows together. i thank God for a great team to work with. at least they make me feel that they are with and for me... :) hugs*

...... Always a radiant bloom of sunshine.

Recently i read some stuff elsewhere from the past and it dug up some old buried ghosts with sunflowers, which i never knew existed so strongly before. That must have been hidden for a few years by now. But who would have guessed withered ghosts leave tiny fingerprints that never fades technically simply for the flowerbed record. -cited off junxian's blog.

i think it would be interesting for me to read about this a few years down the road. :) and i think i will always remember, remember what i think maybe he could mean. :) smiles. anyway sometimes i think junxian is also a good writer. okie, junxian, you owe me a BIG meal now... haha* (okie, that's if you reads this...) so much about the boy... there's a side view picture of him i've got. cos i can't find any with him alone.

i want so much to share about how much i was feeling so loved on saturday. but was too tired for the last few days and was more interested to blog about the soccer matches. :) now that its finally over and italy won, i think my normal life sinks in again. not that i was living in special hours but its just a termed to say, back to normal days. heh!

so anyway as i stepped into children church room on saturday, someone from behind shout, "hello! hello! hello teacher!!!" a normal reaction was to turn behind to see who's calling out to who, and to my surprise, it was dearest denise calling out for me. :) and she waved hi and all before running away again. wow! its a really nice greeting, better than the ushers. haha* managed to help out in the registration with olivia, so i was also the kid's greeter. and it was really nice when parents acknowledges you and smiles at you, indicating thanks for helping us take care of _______. soon, this boy, ryan came. at first he was soo attached to his mum that we had to do a force carry over, and who was carrying him?? ME! but he's cute, though he knows there's a switch, instead of struggling, he clinged onto me like a koala bear, and i was like his tree. -__- so he didn't want me to sit or put him down. even if i tried sitting down resting him down, he will climb onto me, using body language that says, 'hey don't sit down....'

argh. so it was quite heavy after a while especially when i was multi tasking, talking to other kids while carrying him, walking around to help other children. so its like some mighty robot walking around. as soon as music movement ended, i had to get someone to take over me as i was leading praise. yes it is exciting to be leading praise. :) he struggled at the 'hand-over' but he was really...cute. okie, i don't know how to describe that moment but it was sure funny. when it was lessons time, i got him to help me be my assistant during games to hide the sticks for other kids to find. inititally i thought it would be hard to play the game for long, but instead the kids enjoyed it much.

soon it was snacks, every kid's most favourite time. i mean teachers too. after giving out the food, because they look so yummy, i wanted to test if the kids were generous, i asked one kid if it was good and if teacher could have one. without a second thought, the kid fed me one. NICE. and the next moment, the other kids followed, esp javier, jaden, karis... they're the kids i always make a extra effort to talk to them. its like following up. haha* erm, i felt like superstar... cos the kids were eating honey stars. haha* and the funny part was, ryan fed lisa and me with his salivia attached. arrggh!! but anyway we still ate. :) it was sweet of him, so we can't reject.

when it was good bye time, it was pretty funny, cos i was like trapped around 5/6children jumping onto me against the wall for hugs and kisses. yeah so i especially wash my face on saturday nights. haha* and my dearest cute ryan, with his mouth still stained with honey stars and salivia, he kissed me twice. so sweet but yucks my face. haha* and lisa didn't escape that too. heh! i don't know, i felt extra special on that day. somehow it was just that joy within you when the people around make you feel loved. ethan dunn was also a cutie that whines alot at me when i was trying to sit him down. isaac wanted all the other kids to tickle him. and so many many things about who-and-who said, but i guess i will end it off here.

isaac.
he's sure cute. :)

that's denise.
we all love her.

and cutie ryan.
one of my faves.

wondering when is the best time to update your blog? well... it is now that when your supporting team, ITALY WON THE WORLDCUP 2006. :) i leaped, jumped, screamed loudly within, was so happy the moment the last penalty shot was a goal! it was really a tough match. i see a repetition of england match at the extra time when zidane lost his temper or what, and used his head to bang the other guy, can't remember his name, and zidane received an instant red card. wasted, totally. he was such a good player and at the very last moment when france could stand a chance to win also, for his country glory and fame, he just lose it.

history is changing. people's temper are getting out of control. haha* maybe soccer players should go for reaction classes. hmm, i really wonder on home ground: Germany, who did they support? maybe to france cos italy won them. :) haha* its interesting to support any team and watch them closely hoping they will win even though you know nothing about soccer. a 4 years 1 time, supporter like me are going back to my normal life now. but hey, i'm actually quite interested in watching the yandao's guys [refer to previous day post] play their smaller matches. i think i might eventually start liking soccer. period.

-

there's so much to share about what happened before the match and all... but i got to do my assignment now. blog can wait. :)

lastly, ITALY won! yeah!

If you are the firstborn

Strengths: You're organised, logical, and a great student. Since parents usually give firstborns a lot of responsibility over the younger kids, they often grow up to make great leaders. That might translate into your calling the shots in a relationship. Or it might take you the nurturing type, always taking care of your guy.

Weakness: You may come off as a little insensitive; you're a perfectionist, so you can sometimes be too critical of your boyfriend and yourself. On the other hand, you might let him take advantage of you by, say being at his beck and call whenever he wants someone to talk to, or drive him to school, or give him massages, or...

Ideal Match: You'll probably get along best with youngest child. You and another firstborn could drive each other crazy fighting for control over weekend plans. But a laid-back last born will gladly leave all the organisation to you. And he might just give you the push you need to forget about all of your heavy responsibilities for a while and have a little fun.

-

haha* so much about being the first born. maybe the part about being a perfectionist is quite true. its not supposed to be a weakness to start with. i am trained up to be one in poly and while serving in church. not that i attended class, but i learn to have the spirit of excellence but i just brought it further. haha* and about the boyfriend part, i think he will only remain my friend. :) i am not an easy girl for any guy to take. and i don't like laid-back people. who says youngest child are laid-back? hmm... interesting personality test. i found more but will load them slowly in later entries.

i found my old diaries. haha* i started writing when in may03, that's like 4 years of wiriting already and i still enjoy writing though i get lazy at times. i blog to share my rendering thoughts and to release myself. and i am amazed by the old stuff i used to write. when i read some of it, i really laugh my heart out. thats a good reason to blog, to look back how much you have growth or to laugh at your mistakes. or even be reminded of silly incidents that you long forgotten.

-

oh, i finally left poly yesterday. had my graduation ceremony and my parents came. :) it was so fun and warm to see all my good friends once again. as it was getting closer to my turn to get up the stage to get the 'empty' scroll from the principle, i was a little super nervous as i knew the camera will pan at your face all the way. so i was trying to smile the best i know how. heh! good thing i didn't trip or anything. after i came down from stage, i jumped and hopped around with my friend... forgetting that there were students ushers arounds. ops. nevermind, they probably won't see me anymore. :) winks*

took alot of pictures with my friends. rongping and sharon came down to support me. they're so sweet. :) slowly a few others came to join us at rongping's club house. jason was as usual making us feel cold. but it was good cos his blur look and expression makes the cold joke funny. managed to take the 4Rs club photo with our official 'S' - sharon. i'm waiting for jason to send over then will load it up later. :)

went down to class and was late. the moment i entered class, all eyes were fixed on me. they were shocked to see me so nicely dressed up. a few praises of me looking really good. blush. haha* but deep down, "of cos i am!" :x i mean 'thank you'. heh! evening came i quickly went down to town to meet up with my cubical mates. er, we sit in the same cubical [corner] together in our studio. had a simple dinner, good catch up. best thing is we're meeting up real soon again. yeah! :) took photos also, but waiting for fen to send it to me. cos my camera's bat died halfway and i didn't had extra bat, so i had to wait for others to send me.

it was a good and fun graduation. i was really touched when a few friends were very supportive of me when they heard about my career switch. :) i am excitied to be a good teacher in years to come.

that's me on stage. my parents didn't know how to use zoom. okie, nvm. :)

my parents and me.

not really whole team. but still good enough.

my vips. when you grad, you go YEAH!

okie, will load up the other photos into photobucket when i am more free and alert. say ad wave goodbye to SP. :)

Andriy Shevchenko

oh, i found his pic. :) haha* the ukraine captain, that i talked about all day long since saturday. i think he look so good that immediatly i supported ukraine without a second thought, during the ukraine vs italy match. though they were out, but its okie... :) ukraine can still make it 4 years later cos they are still a rather new team getting into top 8 position.

Jürgen Klinsmann

germany's coach. also another good looking person to watch out for. my first impression of him is he really looks like pastor phil. maybe not in this picture but on tv, he really did. but as time passed by i think they no longer really look alike cos both have their own kind of handsome look. he's actually a ex-player too. so somehow he's actually of a certain age, but still looking good. haha*

Ricardo Kaka

a believer, good looking, tall, most importantly a brazilian soccer player. great dreams acheived at young age. wow! power. :)

Zinedane Zidane

old at age but can run like a youth, plus still a little good or in between cute looking. maybe if he shave, he will look younger. haha* oh he's france's captain.

-

alright, make soccer interesting for girls... have good looking players. ahem* those above guys are those good looking ones that caught my eye. :) winks*

, be my escape & joy :) @ 3:50 AM

long long day i had today. :) considering the fact that it was joined with yesterday. after the italy vs germany match, i stayed up a while before deciding to go to bed. struggled to wake up as i had tuition to give at 9.30am. rushed a cab up as i was already late. went down to search for sisdap's birthday present at the stores near my school and i was glad i spotted a good gift. headed down to school to do group research till lesson was about to start. fruitful research! :) i got just what i wanted. heh*

had no contact time to do our group work. we went down to tina's house as school's computer facilities were quite bad. on our way there, we took crazy 'scary' photos on the train: kat and tina let their long hair in front of their faces to play sadako, while i was the short hair version. haha* we took pictures of ourselves through the mrt window scene reflection, thus the effect makes the picture looks more scary. -__- finally arrived and get work almost immediatly. my team mates were really fun people to work and '38' [in chinese] with. when you put a group of girls together, we form a chatty market. haha*

rushed down to selwyn's place for cell group prayer meeting. it was a long bus ride... but i had a good nap on the bus, right after i finalised what i wanted to share with the cell group during prayer meeting. thank God no one steal my phone, cos i just put it on my bag without really holding to it. the short practice was good, i guess because we prayed before we started. the guitar flowed well with what i wanted. it was my first time leading my cell group for prayer meeting, was a little nerveous but yet i have to look cool and calm. previously i used to lead in smaller groups like among the helpers, with younger members. by faith i prayed in the room for God's presence to come into the room before prayer meeting was about to start.

i didn't know the 'correct' way to start, so off we started... i don't know how did i led when i shared but i knew i shared everything from my heart. whatever that i wrote, i say and things that suddenly came to my mind, i shared. somehow towards the end, i felt tears coming towards my eyes. maybe things that matters will cause you to cry out and share. we started praying very shortly... ... after an hour plus, i ended by leading everyong to sing our worship song, when i actually wanted to sing the ministry song. somehow within i changed my mind. sis shushan was actually waiting in anticipation to see how i would lead in that song. ops, i guess i should have sang it since i already practised and put in on the song sheet. but its over already, if i get to lead in prayer meeting the next time, i will promise to be MORE BOLD.

whist the cell group had their durian fellowship, i was giving bible study to andrea. it was specially requested to be given. at first when i received the sms, i was like 'GOD, how? i will be drained out by then...' but anyway i didn't reject her, as i see the difference in her initating then me trying to hard to arrange. so i picked myself up, to look awake and started. bible study was enjoyable, cos i started sharing things that i didn't prepare last night. it all came out at that moment.... and i just kept sharing sharing and sharing.

i guess my day has ended... but wait! there's soccer match tonight again and i think i WILL be interested to watch. haha* france vs portugal. i kind of like both teams: france being strong and portugal because they trash england... sending beckham home. ops! sorry england fans, but i really cannot stand them. i'm writing this on behalf of many friends, cos we're all AE club. :) haha*

it's a long day but yet i have not feel tired yet! God is really the strength of my heart. i look forward for more of these days, but without the soccer matches to catch, cos i need to sleep! haha* :)

-

i spoke to ken today and he said: "no time as usual the little squirrel u are running around" when i told him i was still busy with life. haha* what a term to describe me.

-

"hey, thanks for flowing well just now." - me
"=) he who prays together flows together"
then i remembered i kept praying that 'a cell group that prays together will grow stronger together'.

smiles* i hope this smile will last or let it become a laugh.

italy WON, trash germany 2-0 at the last second minutes of extra time! wooh. now i am fully awake. glad i supported the right team. i like germany but i support italy. :)

okie.. just too excited just now that i jumped off my chair when i saw the first goal. :) horray!!! yeah. see either france or protugal on sunday. then... i will figure who to support again.

soccer fever!!! germany vs italy. i support italy, though germany might win. and i seriously wonder what's used to grow the grass on the germany's field... do they actually mixed a bit of oil? seems like all along most of the matches, players keep slipping off so easily. sigh* nonsense matches. the players keep losing the ball while running and some are tripped over by the ball.... HAHA*

tough match: for the both goal keepers. both team have really excellent goal keepers. one being the best and the other is the most expensive paid. :)

yawns! the match is still not over... i'm a little tired. think i might need abit rest before my long day tomorrow.

@ 5:14 AM

you'll be amazed how so thing changes after you pray. honestly, yesterday was those days when you do nothing but yet feel so tired the whole day. i felt energy leaving me even when i had long hours of rest. i thought i was plain tired after jiong-ing all the soccer matches during the weekend but it wasn't just physically tired, somewhere mentally i was tired. i guess i was quite bothered about my 'unseen-problem'. last night, i couldn't help but keep playing the guitar and singing new songs to Him during quiet time. it was those time when you feel so much to just have one touch, and know that everything else is going to be okie.

today, i had a fruitful day. my day was packed with things to do and i feel so energised to do everything. i'm excitied for more to come, cos i know i am recharged. had a fun day in school and met up with my new team of members. everyone is excited, everyone is ready for fun in the project. drama play is one of my forte, so i guess it shouldn't be a big problem to score in this area. okie, i'm a little drama-mama... i admit. haha* but one thing to remember: speak slowER. i'll tTtrRrryyYy. heh!

my 'unseen-problem': the more you ignore, the more it bothers you. the more you care, the more it troubles and upsets you. but when you pray about it, things become different and things start falling back into place nicely. did it? er maybe... cos i feel the change in atmosphere. i'm not sure to say if things are going to be the same, but i know we headed to a new direction. hopefuuly it will be a GOOD and FINALY ending. i hate to know and hear people saying that we can never have peace with one another. i believe someday it is and will be possible, cos you know i treasure you, and i always will.

learning to love you the way you are, is one of my biggest lesson to learn. it was never easy nor simple to try to know you more. i learned to know you the hard way, and its seriously the HARD way. what you sow, you will reap. probably because i was like that in the past, thus i am reaping something i sowed. -__-`` so guys, learn to sow the right seed.

lastly, whatever i went through with you, I WILL NEVER TRY IT WITH OTHER FRIENDS.

sigh* can you believe it? brazil got out of world cup just like that last night. they really didn't perform to their best and it was quite a hard breaking match to watch when france scored a goal. :/ but anyway i am more glad that england got OUT. haha* ops. i seriously feel that they didn't play their best at all, everyone was so scattered. how can a team depend just on rooney to play. to make matter worst, he got a red card that send him straight OUT of the game. beckham was worst... sigh* to think of him as england's captain... big SIGH, a captain should lead by example to boast the team's morale. all i can say is, rooney will make a better captain, at least we all know he puts his heart, soul and mind to play.

it was a big co-mo in the morning at church, esp the brazilan supporters. even on the way to expo, during lunch, after lunch, ears dropping the table beside... everyone was still talking about the match yesterday. the world cup match sure draw alot of people closer. which i feel is good. at least you don't have to think so hard sometimes to strike a conversation. but that's if the other person watches soccer too. :) haha* manage to talk abit more to mark, as we mostly had the same supporting teams at the last 4 matches. when you stand as a team, you have more to talk about, if you are the opposite, it might have opposite effects... as we will be exchanging comments about one another's supporting team. haha*

i was seriously very very tired during service and was trying very very hard to stay awake. almost dose off a few times and my handwriting was super urgh, really ugly and messy. the message was indeed powerful. felt that pastor wants us to not let the emerge 2006 go to a waste as people lose the fire easily as time passes, thus he wants to stir us up once again. i was blessed.

-

audrey, i love her. was just sharing with her about my confused thoughts. i wasn't sure if i was angry or sad or disappointed or what. i was ever more confused deep within with all that was happening. i'm unsure of what i previous did or say to expect all these. so much that i reach a point where i am almost ignorant towards the whole 'non-exsisting-matter'. to know that you sincerely care for someone and to receive a 'negetive' replies is upseting. i am only human to feel hurt. have i really been such a bad and losuy friend? i feel like crying but should i and will it make me better if i do? where and how do i start? i can't deny that its not affecting me though i don't show it out. can you enlighten me and tell me where did i went wrong?

God, i'm sad. i really am.

i am not perfect. i don't know how to be the perfect friend for anyone. i'm only, but human. teach me to smile in times like this when i have to face you to work together for the whole week.

announcment: my cell leader is attached!!! haha* :) actually i see it coming some way back. i'm happy for her and him. so its good. its like the attaching season, so let me know if you are attached and i will annouce it in my blog especially for you. :) free of charge. heh! okie, so anyway i had my elevulation for how i played for prayer meeting. she didn't comment anything about the playing, so i supposed it is quite okie, but she particularly feel that the speed of tone while i was playing the guitar and praying was just right. plus she wants me to speak at that speed in future. haha* SUPER-HARD!

well that is another thing i OUGHT to change. everyone comments that i have the tendacy to speak very quickly especially when i am high or excited. eh, its something i am trying to work on but it's hard. when you have so much thoughts in your mind and when you want to speak them out, you tend to be quick. plus, we live in a fast pace world, so when everything is fast, even your speech got to be as well. alright, that's my theory. fine. can someone teach me how to speak slower?

sigh*

there is a limit how much i can care for you and reecive your 'attitude'.

Saturday, July 01, 2006

i just came home a while ago from watching the two 'exciting' soccer matches. btw i think i only watch soccer once every four years. haha* that's right, only the world cup cos i think it is something more to look forward to. :) but today's match change my impression of soccer, cos some of the players from different teams are pretty good looking.... heh! ops. i mean they are good. winks*

argentina vs germany. heard from everyone that its going to be one of the best match as most people think either one might stand a chance to win world cup. well, the chora of the whole match was so exciting cos you see pushing, kicking, foul and 'fighting scenes'. the players are so good at defending and attacking whenever there's chance, and you hardly want to leave your seat. i love the heading goal from argentina. though it looks abit heng heng, but the way the ball went in was nice. :) another good thing about the match were the good looking players in germany, even the coach is good looking. haha* and somehow he reminds me of pastor phil. who says that soccer match is all just about watching 22 men aftering the ball? it can also be a session where we find out which country has the best looking players. :)

though germany won, but argentina played well too, though they were really rough and 'scary'. if not because of the penaties, argentina would still stand a chance of winning. but to think of it... if germany lose the match in their home land, wouldn't it be too embarrassing? haha* but we have to know that even if they make it to finals, they probably won't win cos there are stronger teams, like BRAZIL.

i decided to stay on to find out who germany would be fighting with at finals. the later match between ukraine and italy was a little disappointing. i was in favour of ukraine than italy though i am mostly neutral... once again cos ukraine has a good looking captain, no7. haha* my aunt told me that guy is good but because he plays gentle, he is often bullied. but during the whole match, somehow it was obvious that ukraine didn't performed their best, felt that they were either wasting time or had no coodination of who to pass the ball to. not sure about soccer stuff, so whatever i write are according to how i see and feel while watching the match.

since italy and argentina are both playing rough today, i really wonder who will win if they actually play together. oh another factor to win, be in favour of the referee. -__- today's both matches referees were in favour of germany and italy. how irritating... haha*

i believe the following matches i won't be home but to get them LIVE somewhere. but i'm so tired. haha*
