i want so much to share about how much i was feeling so loved on saturday. but was too tired for the last few days and was more interested to blog about the soccer matches. :) now that its finally over and italy won, i think my normal life sinks in again. not that i was living in special hours but its just a termed to say, back to normal days. heh!
so anyway as i stepped into children church room on saturday, someone from behind shout, "hello! hello! hello teacher!!!" a normal reaction was to turn behind to see who's calling out to who, and to my surprise, it was dearest denise calling out for me. :) and she waved hi and all before running away again. wow! its a really nice greeting, better than the ushers. haha* managed to help out in the registration with olivia, so i was also the kid's greeter. and it was really nice when parents acknowledges you and smiles at you, indicating thanks for helping us take care of _______. soon, this boy, ryan came. at first he was soo attached to his mum that we had to do a force carry over, and who was carrying him?? ME! but he's cute, though he knows there's a switch, instead of struggling, he clinged onto me like a koala bear, and i was like his tree. -__- so he didn't want me to sit or put him down. even if i tried sitting down resting him down, he will climb onto me, using body language that says, 'hey don't sit down....'
argh. so it was quite heavy after a while especially when i was multi tasking, talking to other kids while carrying him, walking around to help other children. so its like some mighty robot walking around. as soon as music movement ended, i had to get someone to take over me as i was leading praise. yes it is exciting to be leading praise. :) he struggled at the 'hand-over' but he was really...cute. okie, i don't know how to describe that moment but it was sure funny. when it was lessons time, i got him to help me be my assistant during games to hide the sticks for other kids to find. inititally i thought it would be hard to play the game for long, but instead the kids enjoyed it much.
soon it was snacks, every kid's most favourite time. i mean teachers too. after giving out the food, because they look so yummy, i wanted to test if the kids were generous, i asked one kid if it was good and if teacher could have one. without a second thought, the kid fed me one. NICE. and the next moment, the other kids followed, esp javier, jaden, karis... they're the kids i always make a extra effort to talk to them. its like following up. haha* erm, i felt like superstar... cos the kids were eating honey stars. haha* and the funny part was, ryan fed lisa and me with his salivia attached. arrggh!! but anyway we still ate. :) it was sweet of him, so we can't reject.
when it was good bye time, it was pretty funny, cos i was like trapped around 5/6children jumping onto me against the wall for hugs and kisses. yeah so i especially wash my face on saturday nights. haha* and my dearest cute ryan, with his mouth still stained with honey stars and salivia, he kissed me twice. so sweet but yucks my face. haha* and lisa didn't escape that too. heh! i don't know, i felt extra special on that day. somehow it was just that joy within you when the people around make you feel loved. ethan dunn was also a cutie that whines alot at me when i was trying to sit him down. isaac wanted all the other kids to tickle him. and so many many things about who-and-who said, but i guess i will end it off here.
