just when i was soundly asleep with my weird dream, i jumped out of bed being alarmed by the ringing of my hp. i like my ring tone. :) for a moment i thought i overslept for class...
"hello, is this miss regina? this is miss ng the principle from PCF kindergarten."
immediatly my sleepy voice switched to the most awake voice i can come up with. i can't really remember what she said in between cos i was still a little on-off, so i just caught the most important part, "can you come down at 10am later for an interview?" i checked the time, it was 3minutes to 8am. of cos i agreed and took down directions to the place. wow. it was really amazing. i didn't expect this phone call as i was refered twice the day before when i called enquiring about the job.
i was earlier than expected time. miss ng showed me around and even before the interview, she told me i will be teaching in the aircon classroom. wow! in my heart was like... WAH, GOD am i still dreaming? but anyway it did happened. so we went to her office where she did a really brief interview and her expectations of her teachers and all. everything falls nicely into place, the working timing, the location [near my house], the pay, and yes... the dress code. i really thank God that she was okie and open to any kind of dressing as long as it is not overboard. wow! dress code was one headache problem if the center has a rule, cos before you get your first pay, it is already used to buy clothes. not worth it. but i still love to shop for clothes. hee*
really thank God, thank God, and can't stop thanking Him. :) by the way i am starting my work next monday. and... tomorrow i am offered and invited to join the children, rather my future class, on a field trip to the botentical garden. i offered to bring my camera and miss ng face lighted up, as she didn't have a digital camera. that reminds me that she said she wants her teachers to be always taking initiative. haha* just so happen that everything was so pre-plan. woohoo! yeah! i am excited, pretty much VERY excited.
about miss ng, my boss or my principle... i can tell she is a nice lady. at the same time, when she relates to parents, they will be happy to see her and share with her stories of their child or grandchile at home. she job scope offer is really managable and she seems to be seeing alot of potential in me as she kept sharing with me with what's happening in the current school. she believed and reassured me that i can do alot more later, currenly the only thing i lose out is the teaching experiences. i thank her for believing in me and building up my confidence level.
oh my working hours are like 8am-12pm, a half day teacher or part time teacher. so that means i have to sleep EARLY EARLY everyday. :) okie, at least i won't be dead tired the next day. it's going to be a new experience. a new begining. pray for me that all will be well. :)
